FAQ
-
Interiors and architectural photography for interior designers, builders, architects, and hospitality properties. I also photograph residential real estate and offer aerial work as an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot.
-
I’m based in St. Augustine, Florida, and regularly work in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee, and the rest of Northeast Florida. I travel throughout Florida and the Southeast for projects.
-
Real estate photography is built to sell a listing quickly, so it’s usually shot fast and covers every room. Interior and architectural photography is built to show the design itself. Each image is carefully composed and lit, and shots are often styled. It takes more time per image and produces portfolio-quality work that designers and builders use for years.
-
Interior designers, custom home builders, architects, developers, and hospitality properties like inns, lodges, and conference centers.
-
Pricing is based on the amount of rooms/spaces to be photographed. I typically bill by either the half day ($850) or a full day ($1500). Send me a few details about your project and I’ll put together a quote.
-
That’s set per project. A typical residential interiors shoot delivers [15-25] finished images. We’ll agree on the shot list before the shoot, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
-
Usually half a day to a full day for a residential project, depending on size and how many images we’re capturing. Larger or commercial properties can take longer.
-
I keep the copyright, and you receive a license to use the images for your own marketing: your website, social media, print, and award submissions. If other parties on the project want to use the images, such as the builder, designer, or a vendor, they need their own license. Sharing a shoot with them is a common way to split the cost.
-
Yes. Splitting a shoot between project partners is common, and each party receives its own usage license. Let me know who’s involved and I’ll quote it that way.
-
Yes. The best results come from a finished, clean, and styled space. If you’re a designer, you’ll likely want to be on set to style. I’ll send a short prep checklist before every shoot.
-
Yes. Twilight exteriors are one of the strongest images for most projects, and I can add aerial views of the property and surroundings when the project calls for it.
-
Yes. My hospitality work includes the Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville, NC. Hospitality shoots are usually scheduled around guest activity to keep disruption to a minimum.
